Hello! :)
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) ( I wont be able to write again until after, so sorry this is early :) )



This week has been a fantastic week :) Lets see, Monday, as I said, I couldnt really move. My back was HORRIBLE! But the rest of the week it healed really fast. We ended up watching Hercules in Norwegian which was fun!



Then on Tuesday we had District Meeting! That is always fun. Later that night for dinner, we really almost had no food to make...we had corn on the cob, eggs, and toast. haha! Delicous, huh? :)


On Wednesday...oh! Oh! That morning, right before we started studies, we got a text from the Elders. They said, "Your wish came true, look outside!" And it was snowing!!!!!!!!!! It only snowed a little bit that morning, then later that night in Mandal! Earlier in the day we went and visited a less active member. Her name is Mony and she is from Cambodia. She cant understand Norwegian very well and doesnt understand English either. We showed her a talk in Cambodian about Gratitude and then after she said this, "Det var ikke mitt språk" or something like that...that means, "that wasnt my language." I was like...WHAT!?!?! WHY DIDNT YOU TELL US! She then went on to tell us that the man translating was speaking Cambodian but he wasnt from there and it wasnt perfect. hahaha, so funny :) That night we went out to Mandal and taught David and then knocked on doors, then ate at a members house! We had Thanksgiving Dinner, Norwegian Style. It was absolutely delicious! Astrid, the members mom (not a member), told us that she had to go and ask for a turkey, becuase they didnt have any out. I think she said they asked her why and she said, Thanksgiving! So they went to the back and found her one of the few they had! That was so fun :) Speaking of, THANKSGIVING IS THIS WEEK!!!! I cant wait! We are eating a Thanksgiving meal with the missioanries in this area (the ones in Arendal are coming too!) and then on Friday we are going to an American/Norwegian families house and celebrating :) So fun!



Anyways, then on Thursday we had Weekly Planning. We went and visited our investigator, Mouyy, that will be baptized next month! SO EXCITING! :)


Friday, we went and visited Bestemor (sweet older lady in the ward)! This day was such a miracle day! Later, we had a member, Hannah Torjesen (who is one of my favorite people, she is a 16 year old and just SO perfect!) help us on a teach. Last week we were contacting and prayed to find a miracle. A person to meet and their number (or something like that). We also prayed that Sister Robbins would be able to understand everything said to us or the idea of what was going on. And so we found this boy named Yared. He believes in God, but not that Christ is His Son, and agreed to meet with us! We met with him on Friday and he brought a friend!!! She believes in Jesus Christ, but that Christ and God are the same person. Hannah helped so much to bring the Spirit into the lesson. Oh man, it was just amazing. They both said YES to when they know its true, being baptized! SO exciting! :) Then later that night we met in the train station with another miracle! Later that night last week, we kept asking for miracles after we would get one. This man is from Holland, and his name is Serge. He believes in God, but didnt really grow up with a belief...so is a little bit unsure. As I said, we met with him in the trainstation, and the lesson went amazing! He said yes to a soft baptismal committment, and I felt prompted to ask him for a date. He told us he wanted to read the book and see the people at church first. Even though he said that, he is almost GOLDEN! Oh man do we love him. Ill tell you a little bit more about him later in the email :)


On Saturday we did some contacting and knocking on doors! That was fun :) That night we taught our investigator Abdulla, and afterwards had to say goodbye to Aida Ibanez. She is going to the Phillippines (well now is gone) for Christmas for 5 weeks. It was absolutely heart breaking. She dropped us off at our appartment, we hugged her and said goodbye, then we waited and then went up to our appartment and watched to see when she was going to go. We watched her just sob in her car. She was waiting there for maybe 10 or 15 minutes just crying. We went back down and gave her a note, hugged her again, and went back inside. I am pretty sure we will see her when she comes back, because I feel like I will be here until the beginning of February! But later that night she texted me and said, "I love you a lot. And I cant forget my favorite daughter , "Sierra Chapman" you always in my mind. Love you much. Aida" Oh man do I just love and miss her. Speaking of, she WILL FIND Bry in the Phillippines! She is set on it, so I gave her your email Bry (she isnt in your area, she is in Manilla) So, I HOPE SO BAD you see her!!!! :)


Sunday was an AMAZING day! A member picked up Serge and drove him to the Center (becuase we had Ward Council before church). Towards the end of Ward Council we got a telephone call. The second time they called, I answered it, and an investigator told us her and her family (who we hadnt taught) were on their way!!! So Serge rode with the same family to church. And we waited for them. We missed the first hour (Relief Society) but made it to the rest. When we waited for the bus, we taught the family about the Book Of Mormon. The hard thing though, is that only 2 of the family members (this wasnt even the whole family that came...there are 13 kids!!!!) anyways, only 2 of the family members really understand and can speak engilsh (well, who we there) So the boy translated into Swahili for them to undrestand. They are from the Congo in Africa! COOL, huh!? They taught us how to say "Hi! How are you?" and "Good morning!" Anyways, we had 2 investigators at church!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) SO AWESOME! After church we taught Serge. We went into a restaurant, where he bought coffee, and we just taught :) We taught the Plan of Salvation, which is always so good :) We ate dinner after that, and then did some studies we hadnt had the chance to do yet. We were able to contact a little bit last night and go home and finish up studies!



Anyways, my life is just good. I had a really cool experience when I was praying a couple nights ago. I started thanking Heavenly Father for things I am thankful for, and then I just felt a surge of HOLY COW! I AM SO BLESSED!!!!!!! I felt SO thankful! I have the best family in the world. And I am not just saying that. I really feel like I am the most blessed person. Can you imagine being in any other family? I cant and dont want to! Oh my goodness we are so blessed! AH! SO blessed! haha! It just makes me want to laugh how happy it makes me! :)


Life is just good though. Sister Robbins is absolutely amazing! I was telling some of you about our companionship in personal emails, but I feel like we are SO much alike. That is so fun. I dont think I have laughed so hard my whole mission. We are on the floor laughing SO much, becuase of random funny things! hahahahaha, oh my goodness!


One of the days we were contacting we saw two men videoing people, so I told sister Robbins to show her tag, we want people to know who we are!!! So we walked past them the second time and they stopped us and asked us to do a couple things. Sister Robbins had no idea what was going on, so I was just doing what they asked...they were making a birthday thing for their friends, so asked me to describe some pictures of people, and then say Happy Birthday Martin! In Norwegian. So i did, and then they asked Sister Robbins to say Happy Birthday Anne in Norsk! Hahahah she ended up saying "Gratulerer med daden Anne!" (supposed to be gratulerer med dagen!") Afterwards she asked me what she said, and I joked around telling her she said something totally different, then jsut started laughing. hahaha it was so funny!

Now a Trainer

HELLO!!!!!!!!!! oh my goodness, I miss you all SO much.
This week has been way good.
Last Pday wasnt so packed. We got Kebabs and later that night ate dinner that Aida made for us! We met with our investigator Abdulla, speaking of, today is his last day to find his wife before she gets married to another man...haha (but not funny) :)
Anyways, then the next day was tuesday! We had district meeting, the last one as that district which was kind of sad. Later that day we went and ate at a members house.
Wednesday we visited a member and then later that night Sister Hansen, Sister McArthurs new companion came! We contacted a little bit and Sister Hansen found somebody that agreed to meet with us! We dropped them off at the bus, so that they could go to their new area, Arendal, and then Elder Cooper and I ran to the Train Station, seeing the Cressel on the way (we needed them there because we couldnt be alone) And there were our 2 new companions walking towards us! Sister Robbins is SO sweet! She is 19 and from Farmington UT. (not related to the Robbins we know in Henderson) Im pretty sure her jet-lag didnt hit her til the next day, when it also hit me! (sympathy pains Im sure!!!) We have had so much fun together though. She graduated this year, and turned 19 two or three days before she entered the MTC. She really is just the sweetest!!! I have been so blessed to have the best companions on my mission!
Thursday was a good day! We met with one of our investigators, Goran, from Croatia. A member named Emily helped us and it went amazingly! We committed him to focusing on the question, if this gospel is true, and Emily gave a great idea to him. She told him that one ting she did on her mission was write the questions she had for Heavenly Father in a journal and then write the answer when she got it. He really liked that! The cool thing was that she had been looking for something else in a journal and brought it with her, and after accidentally finding the questions, it fit perfectly with the lesson! The Lord works in mysterious ways! I love it! He also committed to COMING TO CHURCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) SO exciting! I just love him!
On Friday we met with the girl that Sister Hansen had found. She brought her brother too. We found out that she was 16 and he was 12, but the teach went great! They moved here from the Congo about a month ago. They are Prespeterian (?), but havent been able to find a church here to go to. Sister Robbins committed them to baptism and they both said yes!!! Want to know something AMAZING about this? They have a family of 13!!!!!!!!! And said that we could visit them and they would come to church! (the didnt end up coming, but hopefully we meet with their family soon!)
That was really exciting :) That night we met with a less active, and the elders were with us. The elders are going to start teaching him now. But he also ended up coming to church!!! Cool story finding him. We were contacting a couple months ago and thought he was just another person and he ended up telling us how he was a member!!!! Way cool! :)
Saturday we met with a new convert, Peter, and then later went to Mandal and contacted and knocked on some doors. That was fun!
Yesterday was a crazy day! Goran came to church!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The YSA did an AMAZING job fellowshipping him and it made me SO SO SO SO SO happy. He told us he liked church too!!! (had to leave a little early, but thats ok...he was there for all of the meetings and most of Sacrament meeting). It was so cute coming on the bus and seeing him in his suit, on his way to church! He didnt know how to tie his tie so I am pretty sure the elders helped him out :) Oh! Elder Coopers companion is great too. He is an elder from London! Elder Edwards. So great to hear an ekte (real) english accent. Good thing he doesnt mind when people immitate because I am never going to stop :)
So after church we went to a members house for dinner! We were able to get to know their not so active children, and that was great! We had a DELICIOUS norwegian meal, kjøttkaker, vegtables, potatoes, tyttebær :) mmmmm!
And then we went to the Williamsons house! They are the less active family with the two boys that are our investigators! LOVE that family! Today we were supposed to learn how to knit with her, but she cancelled, not feeling well. We were going to have to cancel too, because...well heres the story.
This morning, we were being exactly obedient. We started excersizing! yesterday my back hurt a little adn then it hurt this morning! So we were doing Ab Ripper X, when all of a sudden my back SPAZZED OUT! I could not move off the ground. It got completely strained. This isnt just like a neck kink. I could not move my body. Sister Robbins had to drag me to the couch and I got the will power to pull myself onto it...(this is probably in about 1 hours time...) We talked to Sister Evans, and Ida (the Bishops wife that helped me when I found out my iron level), and the elders came and got permission to give me a blessing. I limped myself here to the center so that I could email! SHEESH! My goodness it hurts though!!!!! I got a blessing and so i know it will be better soon :)
Anyways, here are a couple of funny stories. Sister Robbins called people in Norwegain for the first time a couple days ago. We were DYING on the floor laughing so hard! At one point, she started in norsk, but then he spoke in english to us. He asked how she was or something, so I mouthed "GOOD! YOU ARE GOOD!" And she said (panicking half to death) "..............GODT!" HAHAHAHAA! (good in norsk) Oh my goodness it was SO FUNNY! And then the first day she contacted, she terrified somebody, because she stood right in front of them and said, "HEI HEI! VI ER MISJONÆRENE!" It was SO funny! hahaha
I really am doing good though. Life is so great here in Kristiansand and I am so thankful that I can spend Thanksgiving and Christmas here (atleast im planning on it) :)
Oh guess what? This past week a lady (not norwegian but still...) thought I was Norwegian!!!! That was really exciting :) But it is still on my "mission bucketlist" to have someone that is norwegian think I am from here! Actually, a norwegian said I sounded norwegian when I tried the dialect from here! So that was cool! :)
Anyways, I miss you all SO SO SO SO SO much!!!!
And I love you all!!!!!

busy

Familie! :)
Denne uken var flott! Vi gjorde så mye. Vi var i Stavanger en dag og da i Oslo en annen.
This week was great! We did so much. We were in Stavanger for a day and then in Oslo for another!
Last monday we went as a district to an island, walked over the bridge, it was pretty close, and took pictures.


Then on tuesday we went to Stavanger! We had Zone Leader Training and that was great. We ALMOST missed the train on our way back, which would have been HORRIBLE because on Wednesday morning we had to take a plane to Oslo for the leadership/training meeting! But before I talk about that...Tuesday night we met with our investigator Abdulla. We hadent met with him in probably 2 weeks. So he came into the center right after we got home and talked with him a little before we taught (watched Finding Faith in Christ and that was great!) Anyways, we talked about what he had been up to. He told us earlier that week I think, that he had family problems right now...I didnt realize it was family problems like what he told us! So this is the HILARIOUSLY sad story! He said that he had gotten married TWO weeks ago! (WHAT?!?!?!?!) And that her family did NOT like him. So...they TOOK HER! She was kidnapped by her family...and he has TWELVE days to find her before they force her to get married to another man! (by the way...she is 19...poor girl!) So then he went on to tell us that he hasnt told his family yet because he doesnt want them to worry (pretty sure they are going to worry when they find out he was married and his wife is kidnapped...) and that he is doing computer hacking to find her!!! Because he has NO idea in the world where she is! (literally...in the world.) And so I talked to him a couple days ago on the phone and he said...."yeah...I have 10 days now." Sister Mcarthur and I think it is a tragic story, but everytime we talk about him or the story we DIE LAUGHING! HAHAHA!


Anyways, the meetings went really well :) I loved both of them! And in Oslo I was able to see some missionaries I havent seen since the first day in Norway! So then....we made a mistake...we went and ate with the sisters that were there...caught a flytog a little late...and RAN through security, RAN to our gate, and the plane was backing away!! WE MISSED OUR PLANE!!! Oh my goodness....And do you all want to hear the best part of this story? We had to wait in the airport SEVEN hours til the next open plane went to Kristiansand!!!


So we did weekly planning and daily planning. That was a blessing because on thursday we usually do weekly planning, we had LOTS to do! I learned a few lessons because of that, and so I am thankful for the story and the lessons learned. We also missed a dinner appointment that was with the elders...super sad!


Then on Thursday we met with a lady that they call Bestemor in the ward. She is adorable :) Ill send a picture of me with her! Mouyy (the investigator with a baptismal date) said she couldnt meet, but that she will COME TO CHURCH! and we could meet after at Aidas house! :) Also on Thursday we missed a bus to where we wanted to contact, becuase when we were running, another bus was coming so i had to stop, and sister mcarthur ran into me and her shoe flew! Oh SO embarrassing!!! HAHAHA! And then we ran to another bus and almost missed it...and sister m couldnt find her bus kort! SO funny! haha


Friday we met with a less active named Mony, from Cambodia. Then we met with an investigator named Hans! Taught the 2nd lesson. He asked me how I recieved my answer about the Plan of Salvation. I was going to say something about prayer...but I really havent ever prayed about it... I thought about it and realized that my testimony of the Plan of Salvation really grew after Grandma passed away. Not having Grandma here made me really sad...but really strengthened my testimony of the plan. I KNOW and knew that I will see Grandma again. I just felt a comfort. A feeling of complete trust that I was giong to see her again. A pure knowledge. And that knowledge still comforts me day after day. I still have times where I miss grandma terribly. But I know that not only am I going to see her again...but that she is my guardian angel. I have felt grandma with me,really whenever I need her. Every time I need Grandma I know she is right next to me. We had MMK afterwards and then had dinner at the Institute Center with missionaries, the YSA, and the senior couple.


The Assistants randomly showed up that day to do a few things in town. So we were able to get a little bit out of one of them, Elder Bitner. He didnt tell us anything straight on...but told us we would be happy with our personal situation. And he told us that TROMSØ up north will be opening up for sisters at some point!!! :) (not sure if im supposed to make that public...ja vel.. ;) ) But thats exciting!!! So then the Cressels let us take the car to try to find a ladies house to teach! We went there and then got led to the same house a couple times (that we checked and it WASNT it!) So we came back! We ended that night with a little bit of contacting :)


On Saturday we went to Mandal and met with David, and then with 2 of our investigators Ivan and Virginia. That went great! Virginia said that when she prayed she felt peace. That is always so great to hear when the Spirit is working on people :)
So then we had a little tender mercy, where we caught a bus back to Mandal Sentrum instead of having to walk! :) Later, we checked the mail! The office, we think had accidentally sent this too early, the mission newsletter and saying where you are going and your companion! So first we just looked at the Lys Over Norge and I got to see who my companion is! (Sister Robbins!! Maybe she is related to the robbins in Henderson? She looks like it!!! From Kaysville :) But then I saw the papers saying whats going on!! I told sister Mcarthur and we went crazy!! She is going to Arendal - about an hour away! And she is opening that area with another sister that was in the MTC with us! :)
So then we had Sunday! It was a great day :) We had Moves Calls, and then had church! OH! Really quick...on our way to the center I found my hat that I didnt know I had dropped the night before on the side of the sidewalk drenched with water, but not stolen! That was exciting! And then Im not sure if I told you all about the time I thought I might have dropped my head wrap, went the entire day not being back home (maybe left it there) And then we found it hanging on our apartment building! People are so sweet here :)


Anyways, we had church, and our investigator Mouyy and her son Jonas came!!! So exciting! Then we went to Aidas house after church and had dinner, and then taught Mouyy. It went really well. :) Afterwards we contacted a little bit then we went to a less active families house. Their two sons havent been baptized yet, so they are our investigators. I told mom a little about this, but we taught the 2nd lesson with a life size Plan Of Salvation we made, and the boys were answering and being great! They both want to be baptized and we are praying that they find a car to buy so that they can come to church. I love love love that family! They also fed us, and then we took the bus home! Åse, the mom, knits! So each time one of us has left she has given us mittens! So, sister M got norwegian knitted mittens! and a head wrap and a hat :) LOVE THAT FAMILY!!!! That was a great end to our night :)


This entire week (and I think last week) Sister McArthur and I have been sleeping in the family room. She sleeps on the couch and I bring my mattress out :) So so so fun! I am going to miss her so bad...but, now we can do splits hopefully!!!!!
Well, I miss you all so much! :) I love hearing from you all and I am so glad everything is going well. Happy Norwegian Fathers day to Dad, Trev, and Steve! (it was yesterday:))

find, teach, baptize

Hei hei!
I do not have much time now...spent a lot of time writing other emails. But I will try my best to write about the exciting thigs this week! :)
Last monday we carved pumpkins and that was SO fun. With the whole district :)


Then on tuesday we met with a less active member in Mandal, and later that day had a teach with 2 muslim men. He was drunk...and i recieved a big prompting (the smell of alcohol got strong) to end the lesson. He just wanted to discuss\fight..and so we ended it.
Wednesday we met with a family in the ward! Emily, from Canada, and her husband from NO! They are so cute :) Later that night we went and met with a lady in the ward they call Bestemore (grandma). She is adorable! she loves to talk and gave us a poem she wrote called something like, A message from Jesus to His Children. It is so cute.


Thursday was SO packed! We met with Peggy before she went to Turkey, then later we met with our investigator Goran! That went really good. We love him so so much! Later that night we met with Caroline and Ida, that are two Norwegian girls that I talked about last week. We taught them the second lesson with Christine and it was soooo great. Ida was moving back home the next day, and Caroline doesnt know when we can meet again. But Caroline said that she would pray and when she knows its true she will tell the missionaries in Trondheim and be baptized there!!!! :)


Then we met with Peter, a new member as of a couple months ago. :) We had Christine with us for both teaches and boy do we love her. She is one of my absoltue favorite people in Norway and you would all love her so much! On Friday we met with a new investigator! His name is Hans and he is norsk! He is the one that brought us both cake :) hahahaha so sweet! That went well! So heres the miracle story of the week!


We got a call from a girl that we had taught on Monday night. She asked if we could come and meet her on Markensgate, and so we did! Expecting her to talk about the Book of Mormon like she said. But instead...she told us she doesnt want to be Mormon, but Christian. We said she could have the book, but she didnt want it. So it just broke my heart. We met wtih Temi and Esther afterwards, and then were on the bus home. We played a game (sister M and I) called What are the Chances? She said, "What are the chances taht you will give out that MB tonight?" Then you say 3, 2, 1 and if you say the same number you ahve to! So we said the same number. That night I was SO driven to give out that Book of Mormon. When we weere finished contacting, we still ahdnt given it out. I still felt good because we were so driven and learned that we watned to do it again! But the last person we talked to, after skipping noen få people, accepted the book, and we got an appointment AND her number!!! She is from africa, but even more of a miracle, SHE SPOKE NORWEGIAN!!! (which is the language of MB we had!) We have an appointment with her for Wednesday!!!! :) AND SHE IS A GIRL! (we need more girls in the ward haha) :)
Saturday we went to Mandal and met with David, and later met with our investigator Mouyy.


It was so disappointing yesterday becasue none of our investigators came to church. :( BUT oh!!!! We got a baptismal date for Temi and Esther!!!!! For November 30th!!! We need them to start keeping all of their committments so that they can be baptized on that day. Something that ive learned that is a little sad is that everyone has their free agency. Weve done all we can to help them, now they have to do their part. Later yesterday we went and met wtih a less active family. The two boys are not members, but we found out that they were talking to each other about baptism the other day and they both want to be baptized!!!!!! :) So we taught the first lesson! SO exciting!!!! (hopefully this helps them be active again and the two boys get baptized! Åse (the mom) knits, so she knit whoever is leaving a hat with alpace yarn...super soft! And she is making us mittens for Christmas. :) On the bus back last night it really hit me how much i just LOVE this area!!! I LOVE IT WITH ALL OF MY HEART!!!
Then last night Aida (the phillippino lady) came to help us with a teach. The investigator couldnt come, but we taught her instead. But she gave me and sister m a bracelet and earrings! The bracelet from the philippines! She is just adorable! Okay, I dont have much time, but I HAVE to tell you all the funnies tstory!


So we came home one night this weeek, pretty sure that we had turned off all the lights. But when we walked in, the kitchen light was on. We both agreed that we were sure we turned it off....so we were TERRIFED that someone was in the appartment. We had the elders on the phone when we checked the back room with knives in our hands...just in case. No one was there, but we were still really scared. So we wer ejust talking, and I was in the hall looking in the mirror, when i look in the mirror and see someone! I GASPED!!! And Sister M screamed bloody murder!!!! I realized it was just her that i had seen. hahaha but she started sobbing, and i walked over laughing hysterically!! She thought that it was someone behind her about to grab her....oh my goodness SO FUNNY!!!!


But I love you all so much and hope you all have an amaznig week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

by the way! I think I dreamt in norsk last night!!! I woke up with the word flaggermus in my head (that means bat...hahaha) And also last week I woke in the middle of the ngiht talking to az in my sleep!!!! Hahahaha!

latest letter & pics

Kjære familie,
Well, this week was a rollercoaster. We.ll start with monday. Last pday was SO fun! Thats what most of the pictures are from. We went and played at different playgrounds, by the beach! One of the funnest things was playing on a spinning teeter tatter :)


And then the HUGE triangle jungle gym was fun too :)


This is probably going to not be too long of a letter, sorry! but anyways, Tuesday and Wednesday were good, nothing super exciting happened! Then on Thursday we met with a girl named Dina. She is norwegian and Sister McArthur and Sister Pace (the sister training leader) contacted her. We thought the lesson went great (and had a member on it with us!) But afterwards she said she just wanted to learn. :( We gave her a MB and told her to give us a call when she wants to meet again (we are going to call her though too.. haha) But it was just so sad. But for some reason, I wasnt too heart broken. I think everything is going to work out good with her, just giving it time. Its cool to have the opportunity to plant seeds, and hopefully see them grow.
On friday the Cressels took us out to eat at McDonalds for breakfast! (my first time there in NO) and that was so sweet! :) Later in the day we met with our investigator Mouyy, and we had a member with us! We taught about temples and family history, so that was fun :)
That day was a little tough. For some reason it just felt off...and then the thing we were looking forward to, dinner with the Salgados, fell through... But later that night we met with Goran! Another one of our investigators. We had a member with him and it went so great! :) The Spirit was really there, and we were able to teach in a way that was just for him.
On Saturday our teach fell through with David, but then we met with Ivan and Virginia - two referrals from Fredrik! (BY THE WAY! Fredrik was a foreign exchange student in Las Vegas a few years ago, and he is going to visit at the end of December!!!! I WANT YOU ALL TO SEE HIM!!! But Ill give him your email and all so you can :)
But that teach went really well too! It helped that day not be as hard. :) It was so funny, I promised Ivan if he read and prayed he would strengthen his relationship with Jesus Christ, who he doesnt even know is real yet. And he said, You can promise me?! And I said Yes! And then he asked Sister McArthur the same thing, and she said, yep! haha :) We love them. :)
Yesterday was a GREAT day! We had church, where we taught primary...kinda the same as it was in Henderson! But the kids had a little bit more energy here ;) We taught the 7-8 year olds. haha :)
So Mouyy couldnt come because her son wasnt so happy, and then Temi and Esther told us they couldnt come...because of the rain. And they had the two girls with them...sometimes there are things that are really disappointing as a missionary..and this is one of them. But we are going to talk with them about the importance of commitments...commandments. Its sometimes hard to think that they still have free agency. Once weve done all we can do with the Lord, we put all of it in the Lords hands. :)


Then we met with a girl named Caroline and her sister Ida. WAY cool story!!! So, Sister Clark (my trainer) told me about this girl, Caroline, she had taught in Trondheim. She had a baptismal date and everything, but that didnt happen. :( She had problems with the priesthood only be given to men. So when Sister Johnson and I were picking up Sister McArthur from the train station, someone asked me if I know sister clark and if we were missionaries. We said yeah and then she gave us her number to give to sister clark! (this was caroline!) And then sister clark called us and told us that Caroline had moved to Kristiansand and that she wanted to be taught from us! He sister is visiting and so she brought her along! And so yesterday, we had Sarah Torjesen with us on the teach with them. We went over the first lesson and she brought up her problem with the Priesthood. We all answered, and after Sister McArthur answered, she said that that was said well, what Sister McArthur said! She also told us that she didnt remember learning these things we had taught her but she really really liked it. Ida said the closing prayer and talked about how much this church and Mormons Bok means to her sister. And actually Caroline asked us to tell Ida about the plan of salvation...and then she described things she remembered! It was really cool! AHHHH!!! And they are both Norwegian and YSA age!!! (we have 1 ysa girl in the ward!)
AHHH! SOOO EXCITING! :) Were meeting with them on thursday and will maybe see them tonight or friday night for an activity :)


But I know the Lord is SO aware of me and aware of all of us.
By the way, President Evans called about 45 minutes ago, and guess what? Im training next transfer!!!!!!!! So, in two weeks!!! My heart dropped when I saw he was calling and then he told me the news! So next wednesday were going to Oslo for a training meeting!!! :) Im really excited! He told me my companion is from Kaysville Utah, but thats about all I know about her! :)
Anwyays, I love you all SO much!!! Today we are carving pumpkins with the district so that will be fun!!! :)
